the Board of Secretaries (Health, Finance, Planning and Development, and
Population Welfare).
The PPHI journey began in the
Kashmore district in 2007 and has since spread to 22 districts of Sindh. The
organization was initially assigned this responsibility in 2007 through an MoU
with the Government of Sindh-(GoS)-under the Sindh Rural Support Organization-(SRSO). In 2013, the organization was registered with the Securities and
Exchange Commission of Pakistan-(SECP).
The organization was established to
restore health services in rural Sindh. Its primary objective was to ensure
that the health facilities referred to by PPHI were fully functional and that
health services were accessible to all. A dedicated and competent management
team was deployed, which worked diligently to achieve this goal. In a short
period, they ensured regular attendance of doctors and staff in health
facilities, as well as a continuous supply of medical supplies.
